🧩 Cantina + Zapier Integration

Overview

Connect Cantina with your favorite tools using Zapier. With this integration, you can automate workflows by triggering actions in other apps when key events happen in Cantina—no code required. Whether you’re triaging security findings, alerting your Ops or Security team, or syncing updates to Slack or Discord, Zapier helps you stay informed and responsive.

    • A new finding is submitted
    • A label like “Escalated” or “Client opinion needed” is added

Quick Start Guide

1. Generate Your Zapier API Key

  1. Navigate to Settings > Zapier Integration (available for Company Managers).
  2. Click Generate New API Key.
  3. (Optional) Set an expiration date for security.
You’ll use this key to authenticate Cantina with Zapier.

2. Create Your First Zap

  1. Choose Cantina as the trigger app.
  2. Pick a trigger:
    • New Finding
    • New Finding Label
  1. Provide your Zapier key under the account
  2. Connect to your repository
    1. Navigate to https://cantina.xyz/repositories
    2. Open your repository
    c. Copy the id of your repository from the url
d. Add your repository id in Zapier
  1. Choose your action app (e.g., Slack, Opsgenie).
  2. Map the data fields as needed.
  3. Test and enable your Zap!
