Prerequisites for Payouts

Before you can receive bounty payouts on Cantina, you must:
  • Complete KYC — Your identity and payment details must be verified. See KYC for how to complete this.
  • Team payment preference — Ensure your team payment settings are configured so that payouts can be sent to you (e.g., individual or team distribution as applicable).
Confirm both are set up in your account so that confirmed findings can be paid out without delay.

Payout Schedule

Bounty payouts run on a weekly cycle:
  • Tuesday — Findings that are confirmed and eligible for payout are queued for the week.
  • Wednesday — Payouts are processed and sent to researchers based on that queue.
Timing can vary slightly depending on volume and payment provider. If you have questions about a specific payout, use the relevant report thread or contact Cantina Support.

Notes

  • Only Confirmed findings are eligible for payout. See Bug Bounty Finding Statuses for how statuses affect your submission.
  • If you disagree with a decision, you can set the finding to Disputed to request mediation. Payout for that finding may be delayed until the dispute is resolved.
