Researcher Account Setup

Follow the steps below to create a new account.
  1. Navigate to https://cantina.xyz/signup and introduce your email and new password of choice.
  2. Verify your email and select “I am a security researcher”.
  3. Choose the public username of your choice.
Your username will be displayed to all users (e.g., cantina.xyz/u/noah). Profile visibility can be changed in profile settings. Now you are all set to use the Cantina application!

Finding Opportunities

To begin participating in the Cantina ecosystem and earn rewards for your security research, explore the active listings on the Opportunities page. This is the central hub for all ongoing security challenges, including both competitions and bug bounties. The page is organized into tabs:
  • Competitions: Time-bound events where researchers compete to uncover vulnerabilities for a specific protocol. These often include structured scopes, bonus rewards, and leaderboard rankings.
  • Bounties: Always-on programs that reward eligible findings submitted according to the protocol’s vulnerability disclosure policy.
Each opportunity includes key information such as payout amounts, status, and start dates, making it easy to find challenges that match your skills and timeline.
